Woodland BESS Storage Project
About
Woodland BESS Energy Storage System is designed with a capacity of up to 300MW/1200MWH and an operating life of 30 years, with the option for extensions.

Energy Storage
Store Energy From The Sun
These batteries will store energy from the sun and other energy sources and later feed the energy into the grid and continually support towns and cities, providing lower and stable electricity prices during peak times. When a system fault occurs, the battery system will provide a more consistent electricity supply, preventing a fault from affecting Darlington Point and surrounding cities/towns.

Cheaper Power From Renewable Energy
Reduce Electricity Prices
This Project will enable cheaper power from renewable energy and thus offer the capacity to reduce electricity prices for local energy consumers. It will contribute to Australia’s transition to renewable energy and increase the grid’s reliability.
