This Project will enable cheaper power from renewable energy and thus offer the capacity to reduce electricity prices for local energy consumers. It will contribute to Australia’s transition to renewable energy and increase the grid’s reliability.

- Providing backup power in an emergency.
Benefits to the Regional Community:
- It is anticipated that the project will create approximately 150 local jobs during the construction period (i.e., civil works, earthworks and electrical works etc.) and will require 3 to 5 full-time staff to maintain the facility.
- In addition, the project will result in an increased demand for local resources, goods and service providers.
